Space Cyber Threat Analyst

Multidisciplinary individual with over 5 years of experience in leading teams and providing services at the nexus of threat analysis, engineering, and cybersecurity in support of both the government and commercial sector for ground-breaking missions.

Background

I started my career as an intern at NASA, participating in a competitive capture the satellite (capture the flag) exercise. In this role, I gained experience in and knowledge of ground and space systems under NASA’s dedicated space system vulnerability assessment team.

After my internship, I went on to continue as a contract lead for Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) and then a civil servant and project manager for NASA. In these roles, I dedicated my time to growing a team and pioneering methodology of threat research integration into mission security analysis, focused on ground and specific spacecraft designs and operations. I also engaged in building intra-agency relationships, working directly with mission personnel, subject matter experts, and engineers, as well as acted as a liaison for other relationships across the federal government. My efforts have been recognized by NASA and resulted in multiple awards in the agency’s values of leadership, teamwork, and excellence.

I hold two bachelor degrees in National Security & Intelligence and Political Science from Fairmont State University, along with a minor in Criminal Justice. I’m interested in continuing my education and pursuing a masters in the field of engineering.

Aside from space, I also have a passion for mentoring and contributing to workforce development.
